Coming together

The wrap and the wire for the stucco to go onto.

They wrap and wire the whole thing.

Bryn is standing in the kitchen doorway. Now, it will lead to a pantry/laundry room before going out to the back yard. That's the space between the two doors.

The inspector comes back in the next couple of days.

Stucco Supplies

All the sand, cement, wire, lovingly dumped in our driveway. Tracy had to dig for a half hour to be able to get to the front door.

When the dump truck dropped the sand, they smashed in the stair wall.

Broke off a big chunk of the cap of the wall.

Smashed up all the new stucco that was put on for the front door repair.

Nice big crack, huh?

The supply company was more than willing to pay for the damage. After our guys fix it, they'll send them the bill for the cost.

The amount of debris surprised us.

The roof is covered. This is a huge deal.

Big rolls of the roofing material.

The cement left from the old foundation. We're going to use it to make a wall for landscaping in front. Very green of us, huh?

Water pipes. Actually more exciting than it seems at first glance.

Down the hall, to the giant stack of drywall n our room.

Stucco materials to be delivered next.
There is nothing exciting to look at with insulation, but it's another step! The room is so much cooler inside with it in place.

Above is a random wall. Below is in the shower.

This is the outline of the shower. The wall will be in obscure glass blocks.

The skylight over the shower is in place. When the roof is all finished the protective blue covering will come off.

This will great ventilation for the shower.
